Hailing from beautiful Seattle, Summer grew up surrounded by mountains, water, pine trees, and a culture that greatly valued theatre and the arts. She had the opportunity to participate in youth theatre programs at Broadway Bound, the 5th Avenue Theatre, the Seattle Children's Theatre, and others, and developed a love of performance from a very young age.
Once graduating from high school, Summer high-tailed it to Chicago, where she received a degree in Theatre and Psychology from Loyola University, and graduated in May of 2015. Favorite past roles include Wendla in Spring Awakening, Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba, and "Sleeping Cowboy 3" in her sixth grade production of The Taming of LaRue. She currently resides in Chicago, where she works, performs, draws, and dreams of owning a dog one day.
